The Department for International Affairs in the RefRat advocates for the needs and interests of international students at the university.
Our main responsibilities include:
1. Support with individual concerns
Our department serves as the first point of contact to address challenges together and, if necessary, refer students to appropriate advisory services.
2. Representation within the university
We represent the interests of international students in university committees and work towards improving their living and study conditions. This includes promoting equality and reducing language or bureaucratic barriers.
3. Networking and events
We encourage interaction among international students by organizing social, cultural, and educational events.
4. Raising awareness
We highlight the challenges often faced by international students and strive to create a university community that is sensitive to these issues.
Our mission is to support international students in their academic and personal development while fostering an inclusive atmosphere. We invite all students to participate in our activities or reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
