Wir haben gute Neuigkeiten für euch. Wir haben für euch verhandelt und Ihr könnt ab jetzt kostenlos nextbike-Fahrräder ausleihen!
Nextbike ist ein öffentliches Fahrradverleihsystem, das über ca. 6500 Leihfahrräder und insgesamt 2900 Leihstationen innerhalb und außerhalb des S-Bahn-Rings verfügt. Ihr habt die Fahrräder bestimmt schon an verschiedenen Stellen in Berlin gesehen.
Ihr habt ab jetzt die Möglichkeit, für den Rest des Sommersemesters unbegrenzt häufig bis zu 60 Minuten ein Leihfahrrad des Anbieters nextbike kostenlos auszuleihen.
Überschreitet ihr die 60 min Ausleihzeit, zahlt ihr für jede weitere 30 Minuten 1,00€. Der Tageshöchstsatz beträgt 15,00 €. Deshalb muss normalerweise ein Zahlungsmittel bei nextbike angegeben werden. Dies ist für euch zunächst nicht notwendig. Sobald für euch allerdings Kosten anfallen, müsst ihr ein Zahlungsmittel in eurem Account hinterlegen, da dieser sonst temporär gesperrt wird.
Um die Fahrräder auszuleihen, müsst ihr euch mit eurer Mobilnummer und eurer HU-Mailadresse mit der E-Mail-Domain @student.hu-berlin.de bei nextbike registrieren und eure E-Mail über einen euch zugesandten Link bestätigen. Das geht in der App, oder über die Website von nextbike.
Danach sollte euch der Testbetrieb der HU-Berlin kostenlos zur Verfügung stehen. Falls ihr bereits bei nextbike registriert seid, könnt ihr in eurem bestehenden Konto einfach eure HU-Mailadresse hinterlegen und bestätigen. Zur Veranschaulichung, wie das funktioniert, findet ihr hier eine genaue Anleitung.
Habt ihr das gemacht, könnt ihr eigentlich direkt losfahren. Die Fahrräder müssen an einer offiziellen nextbike-Station zurückgegeben werden, sonst fallen Kosten für die Rückgabe an. Wo diese sind, wird euch in der App/auf der Website angezeigt.
Für die Ausleihe von nextbikes gelten die generellen AGBs von nextbike.
Solltet ihr an der Charité studieren, könnt ihr euch nicht mit der Charité-Mailadresse registrieren, sondern benötigt ebenfalls die Domain @student.hu-berlin.de. Dafür müsst ihr eueren HU-Account freischalten lassen. Wie das geht, erfahrt ihr hier.

We have good news for you. You can now rent nextbike bikes for free!
Nextbike is a public bike renting system that has around 6500 renting bikes and a total of 2900 renting stations inside and outside the S-Bahn ring. You have probably already seen the bikes in various places in Berlin.
You now have the opportunity to rent a bike from nextbike free of charge for up to 60 minutes for the rest of the summer semester.
If you exceed the 60-minute hire period, you have to pay €1.00 for each additional 30 minutes. The maximum daily rate is €15.00. Therefore, a method of payment must normally be provided to nextbike. This is not necessary for you at first. However, as soon as you incur costs, you must enter a method of payment in your account, otherwise it will be temporarily blocked!
To rent the bikes, you need to register with nextbike using your mobile number and your HU email address with the email domain @student.hu-berlin.de and confirm your email via a link sent to you.
You can do this in the app or via the nextbike website. You should then be able to use the HU-Berlin test service free of charge. If you are already registered with nextbike, you can simply enter and confirm your HU email address in your existing account. To illustrate how this works, you will find detailed instructions attaches to this e-mail.
Once you have done this, you can start cycling straight away. The bikes must be returned to an official nextbike station, otherwise you will be charged for the return. You can find out where these are in the app/on the website.
The general terms and conditions of nextbike apply to the hire of nextbikes.
If you are studying at the Charité, you cannot register with the Charité e-mail address, but also need the domain @student.hu-berlin.de. To do this, you must have your HU account activated. You can find out how to do this here.
